CNA and HHA Program Admission Requirements

CNA ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

 1. CNA Program applicant must be at least 16 year old at the time of enrollment. (No high school diploma or GED is required as per CDPH guidelines, although it is recommended).

2. CNA Program applicant must be physically fit, able to lift at least 50 lbs., with no visible physical impairments that would limit applicants movement and his safety or that of his patient/client.

3. CNA Program applicant must pass the Admission Test administered by the school. (Basic English and Math)

4. CNA Program applicant must obtain necessary immunizations or sign a waiver and must not test positive in the TB test. If so, applicant must be x-rayed, the result of which must be negative.  (All x-ray results are good only for a period of 1 year).

REFUND POLICY
The student has the right to cancel or terminate the Enrollment Agreement and obtain a full refund (less the registration fee of $250.00) prior to the first day of instruction. If the student cancels after the first day of enrollment, but has not attended any course of instruction, the student is entitled to a full refund less the registration fee. If the student cancels after the first day of instruction, the refund will be prorated according to the last day of attendance.  The withdrawing student must submit a Letter of Withdrawal to the Program Director.
Books purchased are non-refundable amounts.  All refunds shall be paid no later than 30 days from receipt of Notice of Cancellation or Letter of Withdrawal.
STUDENT’S RIGHT TO CANCEL
The student has the right to cancel the Enrollment Agreement without penalty. You may stop school at any time and may be entitled to a prorated refund based on the number of hours attended from the last date of attendance.  The school reserves the right to cancel a class if the number of enrollees is deemed insufficient. If so,  you are entitled to 100% refund of the amount paid for instructional charges.
